FLYTEGroup routinely deals with these issues and more.
Aviation professionals / Flight operations:
A private jet charter company wanted to source hotels for upcoming destinations booked by their customers, which spanned the globe. Although they already had corporate rates with some hotel chains, they were looking for support in helping them get a better deal and to guarantee certain services in every city.
FLYTEGroup was able to present a selection of hotels at each destination within their budgets, sometimes beating their corporate rates. And, through FLYTEGroup, they also received a flexible arrangement on cancellations and date changes, saving them even more money.
The cherry on the pie was that our client’s crews and passengers were automatically registered to a privileged loyalty program, for even more benefits at no added cost.
VIP travel:
An international celebrity visiting Bangkok decided, on a Saturday, that he would travel to Hong Kong the following day. He wanted to stay at the same penthouse suite as he did on his last visit, but he wanted to spend $2,000 less a night than he did before.
FLYTEGroup was able to reach a manager at that hotel, that same day, who agreed to make the penthouse available for $1,500 less than what the celebrity paid before (and $6,500 less than the standard rate for that night). While it was not $2,000 less, FLYTEGroup’s relationship with the hotel meant the celebrity was picked up from the hotel by a Rolls Royce and feted with first-class amenities in his suite on arrival and throughout his stay.
Aviation professionals / Flight operations / VIP travel:
Passengers on a private jet from Paris to Phuket found out it had been raining there all week, so they decided to go to Samui Island instead. Unfortunately, they could not get space to park the jet there, so they ended up heading for Singapore.
While the jet was still in the air, FLYTEGroup facilitated the cancellations with the hotels in Phuket, with minimal penalties, and then started to arrange for hotels in Samui. Upon receiving word of the rerouting to Singapore, FLYTEGroup seamlessly switched to make those arrangements, allowing the crew to handle the flight change logistics.
Management companies / VIP travel / Business travel:
A concert promoter was organizing a multi-city tour across the US, South America, and Europe. For each city, they required multiple room types and specific amenities. They did not have the time or resources to research and book accommodations at this scale.
FLYTEGroup asked detailed questions for each destination and was able to prepare a list of hotels that could meet every requirement, down to whether a king bed or double beds were needed for each room, while executive suites and penthouses were booked with favorable rates. We also assisted in arranging meeting rooms in each hotel for the organizers to use as an operations center before every concert.
Management companies / Flight operations / Business travel:
A UK travel company was planning a six-month project that would require travel across the US. They were not familiar with the US hotel market and needed to make arrangements within a short time period, in addition to organizing the rest of the project.
FLYTEGroup contacted the appropriate hotels in each city to request bids. After compiling the information from each response, FLYTEGroup presented the company with a shortlist of the best options, along with a comparison based on rates and amenities. The company then negotiated further, with FLYTEGroup as a liaison, with the hotels that gave the best rates, for additional amenities and flexible cancellation/rescheduling terms.
